Police Clearance Certificate

As per the new guidelines related to the issuance of the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), applicants may please note that PCC will be issued by Embassy only after obtaining the FRESH POLICE VERIFICATION report from India.

The verification may take up to 30 days or more. Thus, everyone is advised to apply for PCC well in advance considering the time required in issuing the same.

Steps to apply for Police Clearance Certificate

Apply Online at   https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in

PROCEDURE:
Step 1: 
Go to website given above. Select country – Serbia. Create USER ID by Click on Register. Link will be sent to your email.
Step 2: 
Click on the link received in email. Activate USER ID.
Step 3: 
Go on Website Home page. Click at USER LOGIN. Fill Login ID, Password and Captcha.
Step 4:
Select Country, Select Service (Police Clearance Certificate), and fill all the details. Submit Application. Note down ARN No. 
Please note that PCC is issued on the basis of entries made by an applicant in the online form. Therefore, ensure that all entries in the online, as well as printed application form, are correct.
Step 5: 
Go to Website Home page. Print Application. Affix your recent colour passport size photograph (white background) at the designated place. Put Signature on the Application. 
Step 6: 
Submit the printout of the application along with required documents and prescribed fee at the Embassy of India, Đorđa Radojlovića 7a, Beograd 11040 during 09:00 to 12:00 hrs on any working day. 

DOCUMENTS required for INDIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS:
Self attested photocopies of the following documents need to be submitted along with the application form:
(i) Self attested copy of Current Passport (both front and back page)
(ii) Passport Size Photo (3)
(iii)A Letter explaining reason to apply for PCC along with contact number and email id.
(iv) Prescribed Fee (2800 RSD + 300 RSD (ICWF))
(v) Self attested copy of residence permit/residence card

DOCUMENTS required for NON-INDIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS:
Self attested photocopies of the following documents need to be submitted along with the application form:

(i) Self attested copy of Current Passport (both front and back page)
(ii) Passport Size Photo (3)
(iii)A Letter explaining reason to apply for PCC along with contact number and email id.
(iv) Prescribed Fee (2800 RSD + 300 RSD (ICWF))
(v) Self-attested photocopy of Indian Passport (if previously held)
(vi) Copy of immigration stamps on the foreign passport as proof of their stay in India
